Maliha Rahanaz has joined BRAC University as a lecturer at the Department of Economics and Social Science. She completed her Masters in Economics and Development Economics from the University of Nottingham, prior to this she completed her Bachelors in Finance and Accounting (minor in Economics) from North South University.. She is a recipient of the 'Developing Solutions Scholarship', the flagship international scholarship program at Nottingham awarded to students to create positive impacts in developing countries. During her masters, she was a Resident Tutor at the University of Nottingham providing academic support and pastoral care to 1200 students from 35 different countries. She is also the recipient of a grant to attend the 16th Summer School in International and Development Economics in collaboration with the University of Milan, Italy. This is a prestigious program that aims to bring together 25 researchers from all around the globe to discuss research methods in the field of development economics.
