Md. Samiul Alam Rajib
Senior Lecturer (On Study Leave)
Md Samiul Alam Rajib joined Department of Pharmacy, BRACU University as a Senior Lecturer in December, 2015. Before joining Brac University, he worked as a Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy, Stamford University Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from North South University and Master of Research (MRes) in Biomedical Sciences (with Major in Molecular Biology) from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK where he worked on Cancer Chemoprevention (Hepatocarcinoma) by regulating chemopreventive genes using dietary chemoprotectors. Currently, he is working on carcinogenic heavy metal resistant microorganisms for which he was awarded a research grant from the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh.
Mr. Samiul Alam Rajib is also a Member of the Royal Society of Biology in United Kingdom. He also a part of the Bangladesh National Biology Olympiad Team as a Coach.
