Kazi Abu Bakar Siddique completed his Masters in English Language and Literature from East West University and his Bachelors in English Language and Literature from Stamford University, Bangladesh. He joined BRAC Institute of Languages as a Lecturer in 2011. Prior to joining BRAC University, he taught Literature and Language at Maple Leaf International School and Marie Curie School, Dhaka. A Fulbright Scholar, Abu Bakar served his term as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2014-15.
An avid reader himself, Abu Bakar is committed to helping create an enlightened generation; therefore, encourages reading habits in students and facilitates Reading Circle, a weekly symposium of readers to share their reading experiences. He is interested in Creative Writing and contributes to various newspapers and websites regularly. He also conducts Creative Writing workshops and activity sessions in Savar Campus.
