Ms. Khandker Tasnuva Haque received her LL.B. (Hons.) from BRAC University. She pursued her 1st LL.M. (Master of Laws) from Eastern University. In 2016, she received her 2nd LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree from Monash University (Australia). During her academic years she received several awards and scholarships. She is an enrolled advocate in Dhaka Judge Court, Bangladesh and is a member of Dhaka BAR Association. Prior to joining BRAC University as a Lecturer, she was involved in several research activities. Such as: she did a research internship in BLAST (SAFE Project), she worked as a research assistant in a UNEP joint partnership research project of BRAC. During her Master in Monash University, she did a Master Research unit on advanced research skills and techniques. She did advanced research on victim’s participatory rights under International Criminal Court (ICC). She has interest in International Law, Human Rights Law, Victims’ Rights and International criminal Justice. She holds membership in Castan Centre for Human Rights (Australia) and attended several workshops and seminars organized by the centre.
She received training on advanced negotiation skills and mediation process. She participated in a coached mediation program designed to partly comply with NMAS training requirements and received certificate from Australian Centre for Justice Innovation, (ACJI) for its successful completion. She was involved in several voluntary works during her academic years.
