Ms. Sazeeda Johora Thakur joined the School of Law, at BRAC University in January 2018. Before joining here, she worked as a course instructor in the BRAC Business School, at BRAC University. She used to work at different universities as full –time and part-time faculty member. Currently, she is a member of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. She worked as an associate of a renowned law firm called Legal Remedy. She has completed her Master of Laws in International Commercial Law from Northumbria University, Newcastle, U, K, and Post Graduate Diploma (Bar Vocational Course/Barrister-at-Law) from Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester, U.K. She has completed her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) from the University of London, U.K. Currently, she is the course instructor of the courses of Labour and Industrial Law, Conveyancing and legal writings, Business Law, Laws on Insurance in the School of Law, at BRAC University. Among the courses, her field of specialization and choice is the Law of Labour. She has interested in joining Law Conferences, especially where labour rights and privileges are projected and pursued. She has International Publications and has been appointed as a Legal expert on the project ‘Legislative Research for Identification of Discriminatory Provisions in Existing Laws of Bangladesh’ from the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division of the ‘Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs of the Government of Bangladesh’
