This semester, ARC 493: Contemporary Architectural Thought, has organized a series of student-led breakout sessions with the goal of promoting critical thinking among architecture students.
Some of the topics of these sessions include: Where is “honesty” in architecture today? What would be an effective way to educate future architects? General Education or Specialization? How do we teach global history of architecture? Are we “free” to interpret the world? And Le Corbusier vs. Jane Jacobs– bottom-up vs top-down planning.
All members of the BRACU Arch community are most cordially invited. Your participation is crucial.
Professor Adnan Morshed, Chairperson, Department of Architecture, BRAC University, is offering the course this summer 2018 semester.
