About the course
The course aims to provide an understanding of advanced genetics and specialized topics in pharmaceutical biotechnology and molecular biology and their experimental basis, and to enable students acquiring knowledge and understanding of some of the cutting-edge technologies used in today’s research that can be translated into tomorrow’s medicines.
Methodology
The course will employ both lectures and practical sessions including visual/ kinesthetic means where students will be given specific tasks/ examples of how to apply the concepts so that they derive an explanation and apply in practice.
Key components of the course
Genetics, molecular biology (including bioinformatics), biochemistry, biotechnology and structural biology.
