Dear Graduates of the 10th Convocation.

Greetings and congratulations!

Please collect your certificate from Registrar’s Office (UB60405) during office hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) from 10 November 2015 on all working days. You are also advised to bring convocation gown, provisional certificate (if issued) and ID Card.

You are to show your deposit slip of degree processing fee to get back your refundable amount from BRACU Accounts and Finance between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on all working days.

Chancellor' s conference room.

The 10th Convocation of BRAC University will be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC), Sher-E-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka on Thursday, November 5, 2015.

Instruction for Convocation Invitees:

  • All graduating students are advised to be at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) latest by 12:30 pm on the day of Convocation, November 5, 2015.
     
  • Due to security reasons, you are requested not to bring any briefcase, handbag, mobile phone, camera and other electronic devices. This guideline is also applicable for the parents attending the convocation
     
  • A Professional Photographer shall be available at the Venue (BICC) so that you may get photographs of the event taken on payment
     
  • You are requested not to bring anyone else other than the invitees in the Convocation Ceremony
     
  • Please strictly follow the above instructions to avoid embarrassment

BRACU shall remain closed on Thursday, 22 October 2015 due to 'Durga Puja'. Additionally, all mid-term examinations scheduled on Tuesday, October 20, Wednesday October 21 and Thursday October 22, 2015 will be shifted to Tuesday, October 27, Wednesday October 28 and Thursday October 29, 2015 respectively. Mid-term examination program of remaining days shall remain unchanged.

Regular Classes shall take place on October 20 & 21 based on Academic Schedule.

The Relationship Management Office (RMO) is looking for student volunteers to support the ‘10th Convocation Ceremony’, to be held on November 05, 2015.

Students who are interested to take part, must meet the following pre-requisite:

  • He/she must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • He/she must have completed 60 credits and above
  • He/she should have CGPA >3.00 
  • He/she should not have any disciplinary issues
  • He/she must be associated with clubs and forums


Desirous students meeting the above criteria may drop their updated CV along with a passport size photograph at the Information Desk by October 08, 2015.

Suggested person should be a renowned person, either Locally or Internationally, One Student can propose only One Name and Students must include their full name & ID number and send suggested name to salman[at]bracu.ac[dot]bd. Without student name and ID, suggestions will be invalid. Last date of submission of the suggested name is 30th April 2015.
