Three faculty members of the Department of Architecture who participated in a capacity building workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand in June shared what they learned at BRAC University on 23 July 2018.
The department’s Postgraduate Programs in Disaster Management (PPDM) organised the knowledge sharing session of Assistant Professor Mohammad Faruk, PPDM Director Shams Mansoor Ghani and PPDM Coordinator Muhammad Ferdaus.
Hosted by Chiang Mai University, the workshop was a part of activities under an ASCENT (Advance Skill Creation to Enhance Transformation) project, which is co-funded by a European Union Erasmus+ programme grant.
Led by the University of Huddersfield’s Global Disaster Resilience Centre, the project aims to strengthen research and innovation capacity for the development of societal resilience to disasters.
