BRAC University (BRACU) organised a seminar at its Mohakhali campus in the capital on Wednesday, 1 August 2018 on a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.
The CFA Program is a globally-recognised graduate level curriculum that provides a strong foundation for real-world investment analysis and portfolio management skills combined with practical knowledge while emphasising on the highest ethical and professional standards.
BRACU is one of three Bangladeshi universities to be affiliated with CFA Society Bangladesh.
The seminar, “An Introduction to CFA program”, was jointly organised by BRACU and the Centre for Experimental Learning Development.
“Another feather was added to the crown of BRAC University. Students of this university will get more experience through this program. It has made important contributions to the understanding of the world market,” said BRAC Business School Dean Professor Dr Iftekhar Ghani Chowdhury.
CFA Society Bangladesh President Shahidul Islam said the CFA program was helping to develop investment management, venture capital accumulation and portfolio structures.
“We need international degrees like the CFA to strengthen the stock market and the security market,” he said.
The society former director Asif Khan and BRAC EPL Investments Limited Portfolio Management Head Syed Adnan Huda provided information regarding admission and scholarship.
