C3ER team has accomplished a week long field visit for the project entitled ‘Social Cost on Children Left Behind due to Labour Migration’ funded by The International Organization for Migration (IOM), and Save the Children International (SCI); from 21 May to 28 May 2016 in three districts of Bangladesh selected as study areas. Three team led by A S Moniruzzaman Khan (Director-In charge) & Ibrat Sharif (Research Associate); Roufa Khanum (Coordinator) & Md. Reaz Uddin Khan (Lecturer); and Dr. Sajidur Rahman were involved in data collection in Cox’s Bazar, Chadpur and Khulna districts respectively. These three teams were comprised of total 20 surveyors. BRAC Disaster Management and Climate Change (DMCC) also sent a small team in order to accompanied C3ER team. Questionnaire survey, Focus Group Discussion and Key Informant Interviews were conducted during these field visits. Besides that, these three teams dug up some special case studies.
