We have to ensure clean, safe and accessible water for the people of the country. Therefore, it is important to develop integrated water management through participation of the people. Because there is a great lack of water in the rivers of river-canal-bills. The future is likely to increase this crisis. If the situation is not taken in this regard now, the situation may be more vulnerable. Speakers made this observation at a Round Table Conference titled 'Comprehensive Water Management: People Participation and Doing' in the conference room of Daily Samakal in Tejgaon on 27 December 2017. Daily Samakal and development organization WaterAid Bangladesh jointly organized the Round Table Conference. Water Aid Head of Policy Mr. Jamil Ahmed conducts the program.
Associate Professor of Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER), BRAC University Dr. Md. Sajidur Rahman participated in the seminar. He said, "Considering the need for integrated water management, considering the climate change is necessary. Because the global climate has become an important factor.”
