As part of the "Experiential Learning Activity" of Bangladesh Studies Course, a drama titled History of Bangladesh was staged by the students of Residential Semester, 45th batch, on June 10, 2017, at BRAC University Savar Campus.
The drama was divided into two sessions where half of the sections performed in the first session and rest of the sections performed in the second session. Altogether, 23 sections reflected their learning on the History of Bangladesh.
The drama covered the sociopolitical condition in the early period, different resistances and movement against the colonial regime, partition of India in 1947, Pakistani period and rise of Bengali Nationalism, Language Movement in 1952, Six-point Program in 1966, Mass Upsurge in 1969, Liberation War and the Independence of Bangladesh in 1971.
All the RS faculty members of DEV and the management staff helped to make the program successful.
