On 4th April 2017 Whiteboard team came on BRAC University campus to let the enthusiast students know that they are going to arrange first ever gaming competition on Bangladesh which is sponsored by Grameenphone called GameJam 2017. In BRAC University the session was arranged by BUCC (BRAC University Computer Club).
The one-hour session started at 11 am which was hosted by Mr. Nayeem Sreyash and Miss Eriko Sultana. In this session, they gave an in-depth idea about what is Game Jam, the reason why Whiteboard is going to arrange this type of competition and how anyone can submit their idea for Game Jam. Hosts basically emphasized on the intention of arranging this kind of competition for the first time in Bangladesh. They mentioned the last date of the submission is on 22nd April and Whiteboard will choose selected team based on participant’s idea. They also mentioned they will also arrange a boot camp with the selected teams where they will train those teams for better output. Nayeem Sreyash and Eriko Sultana said the final presentation of Game Jam will be held on 28th - 29th April 2017. The most astonishing announcement from them was Grameenphone will give BDT 50 Lac as launch booster and winning teams will get BDT 3 lac amount as prize money. In the end of the seminar, the hosts from Grameenphone took a question-answer session where they answered all the questions of the participants and thanked for their active participation.
