Grameenphone in cooperation with the CSO conducted a road show for students with detail brief of Telenor Youth Summit (TYS) 2014 on Wednesday, 24th September 2014 at the Indoor Auditorium of BRAC University.
GP officials namely Mr. Syed Masud Mahmood, HR Policy Advisor, Mr. Md. Mehadi Hasan-Bin-Ghani, Specialist of Compensation & Benefits, Mr. Mohammad Naimuzzaman, General Manager of Leadership & People Development were present at the road show to give detail brief of Telenor Youth Summit (TYS).
The purpose of this road show was to give students an overview of the Telenor Youth Summit 2014. Telenor Youth Summit is a global competition where students and young people are welcomed to come up with good and creative ideas on how to use digital communication to improve society, to change the world into something better. The winners will get the chance to attend the Nobel Prize giving ceremony along with a chance to participate in different workshops and seminars as a part of the Telenor Youth Summit 2014 that will be taking place in Oslo, Norway.
Mr. Zahiduz Zaman, Financial Specialist of GP as well as BRACU Alumni, shared his work experience in Grameenphone with the students and encouraged them to take an active part and be the winner of the Telenor Youth Summit 2014.
A highly interactive question-answer session was carried out at the end where GP officials answered the queries of the students.
All the members of CSO were present at the road show, namely Ms. Shanzida Shahab Uddin, Mr. Kazi Shahnoor Kabir, Ms. Rakshinda Huq, Ms. Asma Akter Faria and Mr. Taz Uddin. With the help of student volunteers and CSO team the event concluded successfully.
