BRAC University Residential Semester has taken an initiative to conduct a session titled ‘Inner Voice Forum’ (IVF), which took place on January 21, 2017, with support of Professor Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh.
Inner voice is known as internal monologue, internal speech and also internal stream of consciousness. It refers to the internal dialogue that we have with ourselves at a conscious or semi-conscious level. We can generate our inner voice messages from a variety of sources including our souls, our higher selves, our spirits, and inspiration from others.
The purpose of this forum is to encourage students of the residential semester of BRACU to develop their unexplored horizon of personal inner voices for ensuring self development. The forum hopes to inspire, motivate and help students to recognize their individual areas of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges to become academically competent, value driven and responsive citizens of the country.
Mr. Rehan Ahmed, Campus Superintendent of Residential Campus, introduced the guests and discussed about IVF briefly. Ms. Farrah Jabeen, faculty member of BRAC Institute of Languages (BIL), and all the faculty members of DEV and HUM, including Administration and Management members, were present during the session.
