Two students, Mir Sohayeb Rabbi and Navila Sultana performed their thesis presentation required under BTE 450 (Research Project, Thesis) course on Wednesday, 27 September 2017 in Room UB 21511 of the MNS Department. The title of their thesis were “In silico structural analysis, physicochemical characterization and homology modeling of transmembrane protein 43 (TMEM 43)” and “Isolation of E.coli phages from environmental water samples and analysis of their effect on periodic epidemics of cholera”. Mir Sohayeb Rabbi was supervised by Ms. Eusra Mohammad and Navila Sultana was jointly supervised by Ms. Romana Siddique and Dr. Iftekhar Bin Naser from icddr,b.
The viva-voce examinations for the presentations was chaired by Professor Dr. A. F. M. Yusuf Haider and attended by Professor Dr. Aparna Islam, Ms. Romana Siddique, Ms. Eusra Mohammad and Ms. Shamira Tabrejee.
