It is our great pleasure to inform you that a team lead by Dr. Jia Uddin, Assistant Professor, CSE visited Staffordshire University, United Kingdom under inter-institutional agreement between BRAC University and Staffordshire University (SU) in April 2017. Other team members were Ms. Moin Mostakim, Lecturer, CSE and three undergraduate project/thesis students (Abdullah, Tanzila Jamil and Md. Shadnan Azwad Khan). As a part of duty, Dr. Jia and Mr. Moin visited different modern laboratories: human computer interaction (HCI) laboratory, digital Forensics laboratory, gaming laboratory, web programming laboratory, IoT and big data analysis laboratory of school of computing, SU. They worked as a proxy teacher in different theory and lab classes in school of computing and learnt the class environment at SU. They met with different research groups and discussed the possible future collaboration between department of CSE, BRACU and school of computing, SU. Under this agreement, the invited three undergraduate students will do research at SU for next 5 months. On behalf of SU, Dr. Hasan, Ms. Christine Dover, and Ms. Kelly Bradley coordinated the detailed schedule during the stay at SU, UK. The course leader MSc computer science, Dr. Mohammad S. Hasan, SFHEA briefly introduced the currently offered MSc. program at SU. The faculty and students exchange program is funded by European Union under Erasmus+ program.
