Professor Syed Saad Andaleeb, Vice Chancellor, BRAC University met Dr. Bjorn Lomborg, President of Copenhagen Consensus Centre on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at BRAC University. The Copenhagen Consensus is a think tank focused on identifying smart solutions based on evidence of economic efficiency. In the meeting, they exchanged ideas on the top priority development initiatives that Bangladesh should undertake involving all stakeholders across the country especially ‘thought leaders, youth forums and policy makers’ and identify smart solutions based on evidence of economic efficiency. Professor Sabina F. Rashid, Dean, James P. Grant School of Public Health, Dr. Wahid Abdallah, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics and Social Sciences and Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Talukdar, Senior Program Manager, BRAC Institute of Governance and Development of BRAC University participated in the discussion with the Vice Chancellor.
