On October 24, 2017, BRAC University Communication and Language Club (BUCLC) has begun its much awaited workshop series on professional skill development for students. The first workshop of the series was on “Corporate Etiquette”. Mr. Abdullah Al Maruf, Assistant General Manager, Human Resources and Organizational Development, Aamra Holdings Limited, conducted the workshop.
The event was held in the auditorium of BRAC University, Mohakhali campus. It was a momentous event for the students, especially for those wanting to enter the corporate world. All the students present had the opportunity to learn and develop professional etiquettes and behaviour. Throughout the workshop students of all levels were exposed to different aspects of professional life. A range of topics was covered by the honourable guest, including behavior, appropriate gestures, relations with colleagues, techniques to face interview, and attire.
At the end, there was an interactive question answer session between the participants and the facilitator. Every student who participated in the event will receive certificates of participation. The club advisors Ms. Farina Haque and Mr. Kushal Das were both present to grace the event and honored the guest speaker with a memento.
