As we know, in this fast pace of life, we are always in a hurry and we often forget how to be happy with our own self. Sometimes, we look around, communicate with others and depend on others for our happiness. Hence, we become strangers to ourselves. Yoga and Meditation can help us to connect with our inner self, manage stress, anxiety and/or depression better, enhance concentration and awareness, expand psychological tolerance of uncomfortable feelings, and improve wellbeing.
We are very pleased to announce that the Counseling Unit of BRAC University is going to organize a Yoga and Meditation Retreat from February 22-24, 2018 at the BRAC University’s Residential Campus, Savar.
This retreat will expose the participants to basic and proper ways to do Yoga postures which increases body flexibility and enhances the functions of internal organs.
Sessions on Meditation will help the participants to learn self awareness and be more peaceful from within. The proper scientific ways of breathing can also help to relax, manage stress in better ways.
Cost for each participant is 3500 BDT. The cost includes residential lodging, food, facilitation and transportation.
