Program Overview

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at BRAC Business School is a skill-based, 60-credit (20 courses and an internship) two-year full-time program. Students may also enroll as part-time students, with the duration of the part-time program depending on the chosen course loads.

Master in Disaster Management

The Postgraduate Program in Disaster Management (PPDM) is a 36-credit Master's degree program, which includes 6 credits for dissertation. Full-time students can complete the course in four consecutive semesters.

Master of Development Studies (MDS)

Program Overview

The Master of Development Studies (MDS) is a 45-credit Master's program designed to provide an in-depth, interdisciplinary understanding of development concepts and issues. The program offers a wide range of elective courses, allowing students to tailor their studies to their academic interests and career objectives.

All classes are held in the evening from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Saturday to Thursday.

MEd. and Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership & School Improvement

The MEd & PGD in Educational Leadership and School Improvement is a professional development program designed to enhance the capacities of education professionals in various areas, such as leadership and management, academic and research, pedagogy, school improvement, advanced skills in communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The program comprises 10 courses (27 credits) for the PGD in Educational Leadership and School Improvement, and 10 courses plus a 9-credit dissertation (total of 36 credits) for the MEd in Educational Leadership and School Improvement. The program is modular and takes 16 months to complete for the PGD and 20 months for the MEd.

All classes are held in the evenings at the BRACU main campus.

MS in EEE

Program Overview

The MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) program provides students with broad, in-depth, and current engineering knowledge and skills in three academic tracks:

• Electronics
• Telecommunication
• Power Systems

Students can pursue a Master's degree with a concentration in one of these tracks. The program offers two options:

• Thesis Option: Involves original research work as part of the degree requirement, leading to a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in EEE.
• Non-Thesis Option: Involves an independent study of an engineering topic of practical significance, leading to a Master of Engineering MS in EEE.

Each student must complete a minimum of 36 credit hours with a minimum CGPA of 2.65 out of 4.0 to graduate. In addition to regular courses, students may be required to take non-credit courses to improve study, presentation, and communication skills as determined by the admission committee.

All classes are held in the evening, from Sunday to Thursday, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

The Masters in Procurement and Supply Management (MPSM) is a unique 48-credit program offered by the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University. The program is designed to build the capacity of officials from the public, non-government, and private sectors on procurement, purchasing, and supply chain management issues. Program Overview

The MS in Biotechnology program at BRAC University is designed to provide a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The curriculum comprises 36 credits, including core theory courses, a variety of elective courses, and a mandatory research project (thesis) focused on an indigenous biotechnology-related problem. The thesis requirement familiarizes students with the complete research process, from project planning to execution, providing in-depth knowledge and hands-on research experience.
