Postgraduate Diploma in Disaster Management (PGDDM)
Program Overview
The Postgraduate Diploma in Disaster Management (PGDDM) is a 36-credit Master's Degree program, which includes a 6-credit dissertation. Designed for full-time students, the program can be completed in four consecutive semesters.
Class Schedule: All classes are held in the evening from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Friday through Tuesday.

Admission Test
All eligible applicants, unless exempted, must take a written admission test. Those who qualify for the written test will be called for an interview as part of the final selection process.
Exemption from the Written Test
- BRAC University graduates with a CGPA of 3.0 or above.
- Applicants with GRE/GMAT scores as specified below:
- Old GRE score of 450 (verbal), 550 (analytical), and 650 (quantitative).
- Revised GRE score of 300 total for combined verbal and quantitative scores.
- GMAT total combined score of 560.
Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Development (PGDECD)
Program Overview
The Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Development (PGDECD) is a professional development program aimed at enhancing the skills of ECD professionals from GO/NGOs, educators, health professionals, school teachers, and recent graduates. The program consists of 9 courses (27 credits) to complete the PGDECD. Students can further pursue an MSc in ECD with an additional 9-credit dissertation, totaling 36 credits.
Program Duration: 16 months to complete the PGD, 20 months for the MSc.

Admission Test
All eligible applicants, except BRAC University graduates with a CGPA of 3.0 or above, are required to take a written admission test. The test has two parts: a 1-hour written test and a short interview to assess English language proficiency. Both the written test and interview will be held on the same day with a short break (15-30 minutes) between them. An interview is mandatory for all applicants.
Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and School Improvement (PGDEDU)
Program Overview
The Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and School Improvement is a professional development program aimed at enhancing the capacities of education professionals in areas such as leadership and management, academic and research, pedagogy, school improvement, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
The program includes:
- PGD: 10 courses/27 credits.
- MEd: 10 courses plus a 9-credit dissertation (total of 36 credits).
The program is delivered in a modular system and typically takes 16 months to complete the PGD, and 20 months to complete the MEd.
Class Schedule: All classes are held in the evenings at the BRAC University main campus.

Post Graduate Diploma in Knitwear Industry Management (PGD-KIM)
The Executive Development Centre (EDC) at the Brac Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), Brac University, with support from the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP) of the Finance Division under the Ministry of Finance, offers the PGD-KIM training for industry professionals and fresh graduates.
Program Schedule
- Total program duration: 12 months
- Class schedule: Friday (day-long), Sunday (evening), and Wednesday (evening)
- Industry attachment: 3 months

Additional Requirements:
- Professionals: At least 3 years of working experience in knitwear and related sectors, with a bachelor's degree and a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or a second class at all academic levels.
- Fresh Graduates: A bachelor's degree, preferably in technical or business disciplines, with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or a second class at all academic levels.
- Encouraged Applications: Females and individuals from ethnic communities are highly encouraged to apply.
Note: GED holders are not eligible for admission.
