Ms. Anusheh Ali joined the School of Law, BRAC University as a Lecturer in January 2018. Prior to joining the School of Law, Ms. Ali worked as a Lecturer under the Department of Law American International University-Bangladesh. Prior to this, Ms. Ali worked as a Claims Reviewer for the Rana Plaza Claims Administration, the first mass claims compensation scheme in Bangladesh for the victims of the Rana Plaza building collapse in Savar from 2014-2015. She was also a claims reviewer for the Tazreen Claims Administration Trust, a compensation scheme set up for the Tazreen factory fire victims in Bangladesh. Ms. Ali completed her masters in Gender Studies and Law from SOAS, University of London as a British Chevening Scholar. She was also called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn upon successful completion of the Post Graduate Diploma in Bar Professional Training from the University of Northumbria, UK. She has completed her LL.B from the University of London, UK.
