
Dina Hossain
Dina Hossain is an award-winning filmmaker, with over 20 years’ experience making documentaries for television broadcast and independent markets. She currently works with international and national NGOs in Bangladesh making advocacy videos focused on issues of gender, the environment and human rights. Dina began her filmmaking career in the USA at PBS. She has also co-produced films for New York Times Television, BBC, Discovery, PBS Frontline and ABC News Nightline. Her work has taken her around the world to Afghanistan, India, Iran, Nigeria, Kenya, Malaysia, the US and all around Bangladesh. Dina holds a Masters of Arts from New York University in Visual Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in Public Policy. She has recently joined BRAC University as Senior Lecturer in the School of General Education.
