Iftekhar Bin Naser, PhD
Associate Professor
Iftekhar Bin Naser joined the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Brac University as an Assistant Professor in May, 2018. Under the MEXT scholarship, he received his Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from Kumamoto University, Japan. He completed his Master’s (M.Sc.) and Bachelor’s (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Dhaka. Immediately after obtaining his Master’s degree, he joined icddr,b as Research Officer in Molecular Genetics Laboratory. After completing the Ph.D. he performed two postdoctoral training in the same University of Japan and in University of Connecticut of USA. Through his research inquisition, he has explored the fields of Neurobiology, Molecular Biology, and epidemiology of enteric infectious disease in Bangladesh.
