Jannatun Noor received the B.Sc. degree in computer science & engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently, she is pursuing M.Sc. degree in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh and has been working there as Graduate Research Assistant since October 2014. Her B.Sc. thesis titled "Visualizing and querying 3D MRI data" was advised by Prof Dr. Mohammed Eunus Ali and M.Sc. thesis titled "Efficient and Secured Data Communication over Cloud" is advised by Prof Dr. A. B. M. Alim Al Islam. From 2013 to 2014, she worked as a full time lecturer in Primeasia University, Dhaka and guest lecturer in Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology, Dhaka. She also worked as a Software Analyst and Team Lead of cloud team in IPvision Canada Inc. Her main research interests include cloud computing, networking, video compression, multimedia communication, image processing, software engineering, Data mining, etc. She has co-authored several conference papers and presented her papers in different well-reputed conferences. She achieved several research awards covering research grants, travel grants, etc. Jannat was awarded ICT fellowship, a one-year prestigious fellowship awarded by ICT Division - Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh for her M.Sc Engg thesis. Besides, she achieved several other academic awards such as Dean's award from Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BUET, Academic Merit Scholarship from Department of CSE, BUET, and general scholarship from Dhaka board, Peoples Republic of Bangladesh.
