Assistant Professor
Dr. Md. Kausar Alam works as an Assistant Professor at BRAC Business School, BRAC University. He completed his PhD from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He graduated on time from UPM. He completed his MBA & BBA from the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, Jagannath University Dhaka.
Dr. Kausar is currently working in several qualitative and quantitative research projects. He published numerous articles and book chapters in several international Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals and publishers respectively in the area of accounting, finance, Islamic finance, corporate governance, and qualitative research. His research works have been published in Asian Review of Accounting, Pacific Accounting Review, Journal of Public Affairs, Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research, Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management, Asian Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Business, International Journal of Sociology and Social Policy and Asian Economic and Financial Review.
He serves as ad-hoc reviewer of different accounting and finance journals. He participated in international seminars, and research workshops. He has expertise in qualitative research and NVivo software analysis. He is a trainer and facilitator in qualitative research and NVivo software. He is involved with social activities and voluntary functions.
