Mesbah Talukder, PhD
Professor
Mesbah Talukder is currently working as a Professor at the School of Pharmacy, BRAC University. Professor Talukder completed his PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge, UK, under the IDB-Cambridge International Scholarship program. During his time at Cambridge, he won the best poster prize for his research in the Pharmacology Science Day poster competition in 2013 at the University of Cambridge. Professor Talukder is a research-focused academic who gained research experience in the UK and also in Canada. Currently, he is leading Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) Research Group. He has also been appointed as the Chair of BRAC University Institutional Review Board (IRB) Core Committee for two years (2022-2023).

+–Professor Talukder’s research interest is evidence-based pharmacovigilance in the field of Dermatology, Neurology, and Psychiatry. Additionally, his group works on systematic reviews, meta-analysis and network meta-analysis, and thus synthesizes evidence for healthcare professionals to make informed decisions about prescribing drugs. At Present, Professor Talukder is heading Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) Research Group at the School of Pharmacy.
