Prior to joining BRAC Business School (BBS), Muhammad Ariful Ghani was a full-time faculty member at the School of Business, North South University (NSU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has also worked as an adjunct faculty member in the MBA Program at the School of Business and Economics, United International University (UIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh.
During the academic year 2008/09, he was a graduate research student at the London School of Economics (LSE), London, UK. He was actively involved with different LSE staffs/students liaison committees as a representative member of the LSE Department of Management. Mr. Ghani also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Beachwood Business Development Center (BBDC) in Cleveland, Ohio, USA while he was a full-time graduate student at the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University (CSU), Ohio, USA. The BBDC is a joint collaboration between the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce and Cleveland State University (CSU) in Ohio, USA. Furthermore, during his undergraduate studies at the Utah State University (USU), Utah, USA, Mr. Ghani had actively participated in different activities, more specifically, in the Huntsman School of Business and in the Office of International Students and Scholars Office at Utah State University (USU), Utah, USA. He held various part-time positions in those offices and assisted international students with mentoring programs in both on-campus/residential and off-campus programs and activities. Furthermore, Mr. Ghani was also actively involved in the Logan Community in the State of Utah and gained valuable teaching experience at the Lifetime Learning Center (LLC), Utah, USA where he taught students from different age groups as a volunteer in community services and university’s external engagement and continuous learning programs.
Mr. Ghani is a Lifetime Member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society (Academic Honor Society), while membership is highly selective and is also known as the largest alumni group in the world for graduates of business programs. He is also a Lifetime Member of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges which is a national college student recognition program in the USA – Students are honored based on outstanding campus leadership, scholastic ability (includes a GPA requirement), leadership on and off campus, and community service.
