Muhammad Iqbal Hossain, PhD
Associate Professor
Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Hossain is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department of BRAC University. He received Ph.D. degree (Computer Engineering) from Kyungpook National University, South Korea in January 2018. During his Ph.D. duration, he was involved with a research laboratory “Embedded Software Engineering Lab” and has a number of peer-reviewed journals and conferences (international and Korean domestic). He attended several international conferences and symposiums at home and abroad. Prior to his Ph.D., he obtained M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering degree from Kyungpook National University, South Korea in 2012. He received B.Sc. Engg. in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh at 2008.
In addition, Dr. Iqbal was awarded Korean Government Scholarship (GKS) in 2009 for graduate study and later granted KNU honors scholarship for his doctoral study.
Dr. Iqbal’s Research interests are mainly focused on Software Testing, Information security, and Machine learning.
