Najmul Hasan, PhD
Assistant Professor
Dr. Hasan completed his PhD majoring in Management Science and Engineering with a specialization in Information Systems from the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China (AACSB and AMBA accredited). Prior to this, he has accomplished a double master's degree program (MBA in MIS and MSc in Statistics). His research interests are in information systems (mHealth, E-learning, ICT4D), predictive analytics (energy, finance, health), and machine learning. He has published 36 journal articles in numerous top international journals (indexed in ISI, SCI, SSCI, SCIE, ABDC, ERA, ABS, Scopus, ABI/Inform etc.) successively and 4 conference papers. He received the "Excellent Academic Award" at HUST in three consecutive academic years (2018–2019, 2019–2020, and 2020–2021).
He was also awarded "HUST 2022 Honorary International Graduates" (for outstanding research performance). Dr. Hasan is a regular reviewer for numerous renowned journals with an impact factor of 1.0 to 10.97 and a regular program committee (PC) member of the prestigious "Australian Conference of Information Systems" (2020-continue). During his career, he has been involved in more than 100 academic, social, and market research projects. His research works are gaining interest in the scholarly world and have received more than 1000 citations with an H-index of 13 and i-10 index of 15 (google scholars).
