Rudmila Mahbub, senior lecturer at Brac University, teaches Ethics and Culture (A specialized compulsory course) in the School of General Education. She joined Brac University in 2012. She has worked as course coordinator of Ethics and Culture for one year. She has completed BA (Hons.) and MA in Philosophy from the Department of Philosophy, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Recently she completed a certificate course on Research Methodology in Humanities from the Deep Ecology Environmental Forum (DEEF), Jahangirnager University. Prior to joining Brac University, she taught Comparative Religion at Presidency University, Dhaka as an adjunct faculty and Drexel international School. She contributes to different newspapers, magazines, national and international journals regularly. Her research interests include multiculturalism, environment, applied ethics, education system, psychology, feminism, minority rights, gender discrimination and philosophy of Bengal.
