Mr. Rahman joined the Department of Pharmacy as a Lecturer on July 2017 and have been promoted to Senior Lecturer since January 2018. Prior to joining BRACU, Mr. Rahman was appointed as a Scientist in StemoniX (J&J) in San Diego, California, United States where his research spanned stem cell engineering for regenerative medicine. Mr. Rahman obtained his Bachelors and Masters in Pharmaceutics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in the United States. In his position as a Junior Scientist at the Center for Translational Drug Delivery at UMN, he worked on nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems and subsequently in Stem Cell Therapeutics during his Masters. His research interests range from targeted drug delivery systems in cancer to regenerative and molecular medicine and have published numerous research articles in high-impact journals. He teaches courses in Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics, Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Technology. Mr. Rahman is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Integrated Biomedical Sciences (Cancer Research & Molecular Medicine) at the University of Texas Health (UT Health) in Texas, USA on a research fellowship while on study leave.
