Salma Khan joined the Department of English and Humanities at BRAC University as a faculty in 2018. She has completed MA in Contemporary History and BA (Honours) in History from University of Dhaka. She is currently conducting MPhil thesis on History of Women Entrepreneurship Development since Independence of Bangladesh at University of Dhaka. Her research interest primarily includes contemporary history, gender history, economic and social history. She teaches History courses at the department. Prior to joining as a full-time lecturer, Ms. Salma had worked as a Contractual Lecturer (September, 2016—August, 2017) and a Teaching Assistant (September–December, 2017).
