Sharmind is working at BracU as an Associate Professor. She completed her PhD from the University of Leeds, UK in Pharmacology and Clinico-epidemiology. Before that she was a full-time lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy, Stamford University Bangladesh. She started her career at Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd as a product executive. After that she has gathered different experiences in health sector as a Research Fellow at BIRDEM, Project Executive in Youth and Adolescent Reproductive Health at UNFPA, Bangladesh. Sharmind’s expertise is in Pharmacology, Environmental Toxicology, Maternal and child health, autism and pharmacovigilence. Including NST Fellowship by the Government of Bangladesh Sharmind has achieved Overseas Research Students Award Scholarship (ORSAS) from the University of Leeds, UK, Tetley & Lupton Scholarship, Charles-Wallace Trust scholarship. She has published her research findings in peer- reviewed journals and attended conferences including, England, France, Germany, India. She did her Bachelors and Masters from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.
