Syed Mahbubur Rahman, PhD
Associate Professor
Dr. Syed M Rahman has joined BRAC University in the Fall semester 2021 as an Associate Professor. Before joining the BRAC family, he studied and served as a faculty member and researcher in various universities and institutions in the Far East, South East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, and Europe. He, formerly a banker by training, has been striving to become a researcher since 2006. With a multi-disciplinary academic background, his research interest lies with adaptation to climate change, climate finance, energy and environment policy, health, and sustainable development. His scholarly works are available in journals like Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies for Global Change, Energy Policy, and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews. He plays FIFA in Xbox in his leisure time.
He is open to research collaborations as long as the research goal fits his research interest.
