Tanisha Momtaz

Tanisha Momtaz joined the Department of Pharmacy, BRAC University as a Lecturer in July, 2021. She completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from BRAC University in 2016. She evaluated the toxic effect of Aluminum on female rat model and the impact of Vitamin E on it during her Bachelor thesis.

After completion of her undergraduate studies, she worked as Oncology Associate in Sanofi Bangladesh for more than 1 year. Later, she went to Germany to do her Master’s in Toxicology from University of Potsdam. During her Master’s thesis, she focused on human gut microbiota and the topic was “Evaluation of the Stability and Diversity of Human Gut Microbiota by Flow Cytometry”. After coming back to Bangladesh she worked as research assistant at icddr,b in “Non-communicable Diseases” group for few months.
