Tanisha Tabassum Sayka Khan joined the Department of Pharmacy, Brac University as a lecturer in January 2020. She completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy from Brac University and obtained her Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Friedrich Schiller University in Germany. After completion of her undergraduate studies, she worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Pharmacy of Brac University until she left to pursue the MSc degree. During her Bachelor, her project work included drug formulation and analytical method development using HPLC. Her Master thesis was focused on generation and characterization of breast cancer predisposing gene knockout cell lines using CRISPR/Cas9 technology. Apart from that, she also gained research experience with different disease induced cell lines to study the epigenetic modifications and effect of certain drugs.
