Dr. Touhidur Rahman received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He obtained his PhD from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, US 2009. He spent one year as a post-doctoral researcher in Oak National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, US. He was also visiting research assistant professor in University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA for about one year. His research interests include Low power and high-speed VLSI, Analog integrated circuits, CMOS process development, Power management, VLSI education, Acoustic Generation and propagation.
Dr. Rahman has gained extensive research experience on a range of topics related to semiconductor device physic, circuits and fabrication process. Dr. Rahman published 2 US patents, 1 book chapter, 12 Journal papers and 25 conference articles on semiconductor device physic, modeling and fabrication.
Dr Rahman joined BRAC University as a Professor in 2022 in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
