The Centre for Inclusive Architecture and Urbanism (Ci+AU) at BRAC University has started a Student Internship Program to offer students of various disciplines from around the world an opportunity to collaborate with our research team on short-term projects. This collaborative program allows students to learn about urban, architectural and environmental challenges faced by Bangladesh today.
The goal of this program is to welcome both local and international students to develop new ideas about a range of subjects including urban design, architecture, and environmental management and preservation in collaboration with researchers, faculty members, and students at BRAC University and BRAC. The program provides promising young students with an opportunity to gain valuable research and work experience and apply their educational knowledge to real-world situations.
Visiting students will be based at Ci+AU’s office at BRAC University in Mohakhali, where they will have access to research facilities, Ayesha Abed Library, and other resources. They will have occasions to visit Ci+AU’s project sites in Dhaka and beyond, allowing them to gain valuable hands-on experience and research skills.
Students interested in applying to Ci+AU’s Student Internship Program to work on projects related broadly to the study of architecture, urbanism, city affairs, city governance, and environmental conservation are invited to email a resume, a one-page statement explaining their research interests and any questions regarding the program to Professor Adnan Zillur Morshed at [email protected].
