18. Where can I get program course listing, course prerequisite and course sequence?
You may find through the download link at the end of this FAQs document in the Necessary Documents’ section. Remember you have to follow your version of the curriculum.
19. What is the recommended course sequence/flowchart?
Course sequence means the order you should follow for completing your courses, i.e. in which semester you have to complete which courses.
20. How important to follow the course sequence/flowchart?
It is very important to follow this course sequence as recommended in the curriculum if you wish to complete the requirements of your program in four years.
Remember, failure to follow the course sequence could delay your Final Year Design Project course.
21. I am unable to follow the course sequence as I did not complete some courses of the earlier semesters. What should I do now?
You should take those courses first which were supposed to complete earlier.
22. What are the maximum and minimum credits I can take per semester?
Regular students should take Maximum 15 credits and Minimum 9 credits of course per semester.
23. I want to take less than 9 credits in a semester. What should I do now?
Taking less than 9 credits in a semester is only allowed in an exceptional situation. Please email your advisor for approval with valid reasons and further processing.
24. I want to take more than 15 credits in a semester. What should I do now?
Taking more than 15 credits in a semester is only allowed upon strong recommendation from your advisor. If your advisor recommends considering your progress and CGPA, then only you can take more than 15 credits in a semester.
25. My CGPA is not good and there are more than 15-18 credits left. Can I take this remaining credits in one semester? Otherwise, it would take one more semester.

26. I have added a course for the following semester during my pre-registration. However, I could not able to pass its pre-prerequisite course which I found after final grade published? What should I do now?
If you have any retake course, then complete this first. You should not take any course if its pre-requisite is not complete. Your advisor will drop the course during advising time if its pre-requisite is not completed.
27. I find different course codes for the same course. Which one should I take?
In USIS, you may find different course codes for the same course. You have to take the course with the course code following your version of curriculum.
For example: For Electrical Circuits I and Electrical Circuits I Laboratory, you will find the following codes. I just mentioned who will take which course code
EEE201 and EEE202 (For EEE students V1 and V2)
ECE201 and ECE202 (For ECE students V1 and V2)
EEE101 and EEE101L (For EEE students V3)
ECE101 and ECE101L (For ECE students V3)
28. Can I take a course following the course code of another version of the curriculum?
No, you have to follow the course code of your version of curriculum.
29. Can ECE students take course with equivalent EEE code or vice versa?
No, ECE students have to take courses with the ECE codes. If you need any help due to seat limitations, your advisor will help you. There is no way to take equivalent courses with EEE codes.
30. Can I take any course within my curriculum (e.g. EEE361: Data Communication) with equivalent CSE code (e.g. CSE320) or other department course code?
No, you must take EEE361 for above case. For taking any course, you have to follow the course code which is written in your program curriculum.
31. What is the retake, repeat and probation policy?
