The School of Law, BRAC University has worked on a project titled, “Violence against Women (VAW).” The project is supported by the Justice Sector Facility (JSF) project undertaken by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh being funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Bangladesh. The aim of the project is to identify the legislative inconsistencies and reasons behind low conviction rate in the VAW Cases.
