This is to inform all that the Residential Semester of BRAC University is going to organize an Anti-Bullying Awareness Campaign Program on 20th October, 2018 in collaboration with Office of Co-Curricular Activities (OCA) and Counseling Unit, BRAC University. The theme of the program is “Respecting Each Other for Who We Are”.
The main objectives of this campaign are to provide psycho-education about the psychology of bullies, bystanders, victims, and impacts of it, and also to create empathy and compassion among students, faculty members, and staff. There will be some tips on how to deal with bullying. Besides, our aim is to spread awareness about the impact of bullying in social settings.
The Day-long Awareness Campaign includes video presentations, sharing session and art exhibition with school children facilitated by the student ambassadors. Later on, panel discussion by experts will be held with the students where students may know about the present scenario of bullying and how to deal with it. The event will be closed by a cultural program performed by BRAC University Cultural Club (BUCUC) and BRAC University Drama and Theatre Club (BUDTF).
