About the presenters:
Md. Tanbir Sajib, FCIM
Md. Tanbir Sajib is currently the Director of Commercial Affairs at Novo Nordisk Bangladesh. Novo Nordisk is the Global Leader in Diabetes Care and the leading multinational pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh at present. Mr Sajib has twenty one years of professional experience in leading global pharmaceutical companies including Roche, Novartis (Sandoz), Sanofi and Novo Nordisk. His expertise lies in Sales & Marketing including launching new products, innovative branding & managing life cycle of both innovative & generic brands. He has been involved in diverse arenas of business including Commercial Excellence, Sales Force Excellence, Marketing Excellence & Research, Training, Business Development, Key Account Management, Market Access & Public Affairs.
Mr Sajib has been awarded Internationally and locally for marketing/ branding excellence. In addition, he has participated in several international conferences as well as training/ development programs on marketing, sales, financial management, strategic planning, CRM and leadership across Asia, Middle East, Europe, Australia, Canada and USA. He holds an M.Pharm and B.Pharm from Dhaka University, an executive MBA from North South University and FCIM [Fellow – The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)], UK.
M. Zulfiquer Hossain, Ph.D.
Dr. Hossain received his B.S. in Biology and Biochemistry from Brandeis University and his Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Maryland under the Graduate Partnerships Program with the National Institutes of Health. He completed his postdoctoral training in the Departments of Oncology and Dermatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His research has been published in high-impact journals and featured in Time magazine. He brings extensive knowledge of molecular, cancer and stem cell biology, epigenetics and immunology, as well as teaching experience as an Associate Professor at Brac University. As a Research Technology Specialist with MilliporeSigma (the life science business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany), Dr. Hossain leads technical seminars and workshops, generates application data and supports cutting-edge tech platforms in genomics, proteomics, and live cell analysis.
