Installment Payment Options, Summer 2022 - Policy & Procedure

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Brac University provided financial assistance (Tuition Fee & Non Tuition Fee Waiver, Student Assistance Fund, and Installment Payment Options) to students from Summer’20 to Spring’22 semester. We understand that the support of financial aid was very impactful for many students’ academic performance and personal well being. Now the pandemic situation has improved significantly and the country is back to normal operation without any lockdowns. We are also preparing for fully in person classes for Summer’22 semester onwards.  

We realize, however, that students are still facing some financial distress due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the University has decided to continue to offer  students installment payment options for the Summer 22 semester. 

In addition, Brac University has approached different commercial banks for suitable educational loans for its students. Details of the educational loan proposals by selected banks will be announced very soon.

Payment in Installments:

Both undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply for an Installment Plan. To apply for Payment in Installments, students need to complete the Application Form (link given below)

Submit the filled-up form with relevant supporting documents (Pls. see in the form) - On or before 04 June 2022 (Saturday), by 11:59pm (for both the new, and continuing students).

Students applying for installment payment can choose between the following two options to pay:

- In two equal installments on 23 June 2022 (Thursday), and 07 July 2022 (Thursday).  

- In three equal installments on 23 June 2022 (Thursday), 07 July 2022 (Thursday), and 08 August 2022 (Monday).

Results will be withheld until all dues for the Summer 2022 semester are cleared and students need to clear the installment payments in time to avoid late fees. Students will not be able to complete pre-registration or registration for Fall 2022 semester if the full payment for Summer 2022 is not completed in due time.
