BBS holds discussion on ‘Drafting a resume and a strong LinkedIn profile’

Brac Business School (BBS) arranged an open forum discussion titled: “Drafting a resume and a strong LinkedIn profile” for the students on Thursday, 20 February, 2020. The session was conducted by Mr. Sadman Sakib Shovon, Talent Management Lead Specialist, Banglalink.

The discussion was arranged with a view to assist students understand the significance of writing a resume as well as developing a strong LinkedIn profile. Mr. Shovon gave ideas on developing resumes in a way that those get attracted by recruiters. He also highlighted a good number of points related to a LinkedIn profile including the necessity of updating the profile from time to time, managing professional network, filling up important sections of the profile, adding valid information and so on. The discussion was followed by a question-answer session where students actively participated to learn more from the resource person. The discussion was coordinated by Mr. K. M Nafiul Haque, lecturer, Brac Business School.
