Shahnawaz Hossain, Lecturer at BRAC Institute of Languages (BIL), BRAC University, has been awarded the prestigious Advance HE Fellowship by Advance HE, UK. Before joining BRACU, during his tenure at a British university, Mr. Hossain had the opportunity to join the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (PGCLT), a rigorous RQF Level 7 programme, alongside the Advance HE Fellowship, both of which were fully funded through scholarships recommended by the university. Mr. Hossain officially received the award on 24 September 2024.
The Advance HE Fellowship is a highly competitive and esteemed recognition for educators in higher education, symbolizing a strong commitment to professional excellence and credibility in the field of teaching. This award also entitles him to use the post-nominal AFHEA, signifying his membership in the fellowship community.
