Brac Institute of Languages (BIL) faculty members Mohammad Aminul Islam and Md Mahbubul Islam distributed 250 books among the students of Diploma in Midwifery at the Dhaka Centre under James P Grant School of Public Health, Brac University. On March 19, 2022, they visited the Dhaka Centre at Adabor and met the students and faculty members. During this short visit, they discussed various aspects of teaching, learning, and assessment procedure of the English modules of the Midwifery program.
On February 27, 2022, Ms Kamrun Naher, Coordinator of the GBC Christian Health Project (CHP), Haluaghat, Mymensingh thanked Brac Institute of Languages (BIL) for donating 400 books to the Centre’s library for expanding the invaluable resources. In her email, Ms Naher appreciated BIL’s book drive project HERALD and expressed her hope that it will assist in creating a knowledge based society in Bangladesh.
‘Harnessing Emerging Readers for Attainment and Language Development (HERALD)’ is a book drive project initiated by Brac Institute of Languages (BIL) to support rural underserved communities with required materials, books and resources.
