BRAC Business School arranged a town hall meeting at the behest of BBS management team led by Dr. Sang H Lee (Professor and Dean, BRAC Business School) with the students from BBA, MBA and EMBA programs on Thursday, 06 February, 2020 at the 19th Floor of University Building 2.
The event was arranged to facilitate exchange of opinions, ideas, concerns and remedies from students and the management team. The discussion initiated by Dr. Lee covered the present economy of Bangladesh, our students’ position and the Internet of Things (IOT) affecting digital economy. He welcomed students with his inspiring ideas. Following the discussion session the floor was open to solicit questions and suggestions from the students. The students asked several questions, and gave suggestions regarding academic curriculum and administrative issues. Mr. Saif Hossain and Prof. Mujibul Haque responded to the queries and felicitated the suggestions. Additionally, confusions regarding academic issues were dispelled and several plans for the future were discussed by the speakers.
The discussion, taken up by, Mr. Saif Hossain, answered several questions anonymously written by the students present there. Later, Dr. Lee thanked the students for their active participation and concluded the program by expressing his wish to have regular town hall meetings. The session was coordinated by Mr. Md.
